Spark Chicago

I have worked with Spark Chicago in a multitude of capacities over the years. I started as a Development Fellow working on fundraising and events. There I was conceptualizing, designing, and executing fundraising campaigns where my design efforts helped to increase fundraising by 71%. Since then, I have been asked to design essential fundraising opportunities such as Sugar Rush and Discovery Day. The Discovery Day logo was a new concept for 2016. The inspiration came from the idea to create words using icons that could translate to other materials and represent what Spark is all about. The exposure at the event would be great, but the logo needed to inform just as much as it advertised. A simple navy was used to cut down on printing costs and to remain constant with new branding efforts.
